Thank you for the Carillon bells, truly part of the Mercyhurst fabric. I grew up across the street from the college, and loved listening to them. I have always been proud to be a ‘hurst alum!

Happy Thanksgiving to you, Dr. Victor and to the very able administration you have gathered about you to move our beloved Mercyhurst University forward. And to the faculty who are really some of the best educators to be found. And Happy Thanksgiving to the staff which is such an integral part of making the campuses run smoothly. And I give thanks for the very educational talk you gave to the Jefferson Society, for your inauguration as president of the college, for enlivening the campus with the fun day, for being mindful of the Mercy spirit and tradition, for tailoring the educational processes to meet the needs of students in the 21st century, for continuing to look for new opportunities for Mercyhurst. And with each stoke of the carillon which floats skyward I’m sure that your parents hear them echo in heaven are so very proud of you and your accomplishments. HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

Happy Thanksgiving to you, Dr. Victor, to the Sisters of Mercy, Administrators, Faculty, Staff, Students, Alumni, Parents, Trustees and Friends of Mercyhurst University,
Thank you all for all of your daily efforts in keeping Mercyhurst thriving and for promoting the outstanding legacy of the Sisters of Mercy. I truly thank God every day for the blessing of being a Mercyhurst Alumna. It is and was a great institution. I received a wonderful education from talented and dedicated people. I enjoy wonderful friendships with classmates, alums, faculty, and administrators from my college years.
My life is truly richer because of Mercyhurst. Thank you for helping the institution thrive.
    Carpe Diem.

Thank you, Dr. Victor for making the time to send a message to all of us who have any connection with our beloved Mercyhurst. So many warm memories flood my senses from my days on the Hill as a student through today as we enjoy so many Campus Offerings to deepen our spirits, broaden our minds and enrich our lives. Thank you,
Mercyhurst UniversIty for challenging each of us who pass through your gates to seize the opportunity to love God and our neighbor. As my dear Aunt Carole (also an alum) always says, “may your turkey and your memories be tender.” Happy Thanksgiving!

All of the Bukowski alums (Kathy & Danny 1975 and Justin & Jordan 2011) wish President Victor, the administration, staff & students much success this school year! Having also just retired from many years of teaching on the Hill, I give thanks for a wonderful career as part of the Mercyhurst family! Happy Thanksgiving & Carpe Diem!
