November is the National Long-Term Care Awareness Month

Published on November 6, 2013 | By Lindsay Cox

Have you experienced loved ones needing Long-Term Care?  How did this impact you?  Are you prepared should you need care someday?  What don’t you know about Long-Term Care?

Long-Term Care is one of the biggest Financial Challenges we face today.  The fact is that about 70% of those reaching age 65 will need long-term care someday.  It is highly likely that it will affect you or someone you know. Long-Term Care is not just for the elderly as about 40% of those in a nursing home today are under age 65.  The value of education cannot be overstated and you need to learn why Long-Term Care planning should be a part of one’s overall financial planning process.  The younger you are the more options you have for planning.

You and a guest are invited to attend and learn about the issues, concerns, costs and possible solutions surrounding long-term care and get answers to all your questions.

A FREE, NO OBLIGATION, Long-Term Care Education & Awareness Seminar/Workshop is being sponsored as a Mercyhurst Alumni Affinity Benefit Program and will be presented at Mercyhurst University at 6:30 PM on Tuesday, November 19th in Room 109 at the new Center for Academic Engagement building.  Convenient parking will be available.

To register:  Please contact our program sponsor, Robert Schriefer  of Evans Capital Management Inc. at 814-868-7551 or via email to rlschriefer@ecmnet.com.  You can also learn more about this important topic by visiting his exclusive Long-Term Care website at www.RLSchrieferLTC.com.
